self directed research ( Rebeca )

Fred Raph, in the first photo is his portaite of his tattoo piece of jesus. i see a lot of shading which makes the picture stand a lot more. his work is very detailed. he has more shading more than line work, you can tell. lining stands out and bold which makes the structure of the image, different kinds of shading makes the work detailed and realistic.

i can relate to most of fred raphs work knowing i use some his work to re-design to make it into my own for example his typography…. in tattooing I'm into a lot of typography and different kinds of pictures something thats out of my comfort zone like island design. what i would like to learn more about is the religious portraits fred raph does shown in his work.

  2. Hi Peter, Good to see your blog is underway for your classes with Rebecca and Frances - but no RRaW exercises yet? You need to start work now on catching up! I'm worried you're slipping too far behind Peter, please come see me if I can help... Cheers, Cassandra
